Oaxaca - Vacation Rental by (Normal) Owner

Here in Oaxaca we are renting an apartment in a duplex. The gringo owners live in the upper unit, but are currently away while they are visiting back in the states. A very nice and helpfully bilingual student is living upstairs as is, at least part of the time, the housekeeper and her daughter. They've all been very accommodating in driving us to the grocery store and to the airport to pick up Nancy.

The apartment is a bit outside the central historical district but for a little extra walking we get more for our money and a more quiet location. This place is plenty big with three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a number of outdoor terraces. It is also very artfully decorated with intricate tile work and an array of pottery and other decorative objects. The lack of a drunken crazy expat landlady is also a bonus.
